Melissa Macheta, RDH

Melissa Macheta started her career as a dental assistant in 1990. Though she had little experience, Melissa quickly realized she wanted to do more to help patients live healthier lives. She worked her way through night school and graduated in 1998 as a dental hygienist.

Melissa always greets her patients with a smile and uses music to help her patients relax. She gets to know her patients through light conversation and tries to gauge their concerns and sensitivities. She works with the motto of treating every patient the way she would want to be treated. Moreover, Melissa believes in educating her patients on proper oral care, rather than preaching to her patients on how they should care for themselves.

Outside the office, Melissa loves gardening, spending time with her three grandchildren and camping with her husband.
