Is There a Difference Between a Porcelain Crown and a Porcelain Veneer?

Crowns can cover significant damage to teeth whereas veneers can cover only minor flaws. Crowns are often referred to as caps because they cap the entire surface of the tooth.
Are Veneers Long-lasting?
Unless damaged from trauma, veneers can last for decades if they’re properly maintained. Like your natural teeth, porcelain teeth should have a regimen of regular flossing and brushing and periodic dental checkups. With this type of care regimen, your veneers can last for decades or even for the rest of your life. Be sure to use your teeth for their intended purpose, not for bottle or bag openers.
